We are currently facing several simultaneous risks to our food supply that could lead to shortages and will almost certainly cause massive price increases. This is now one of the most urgent issues facing our country.
We are actively focusing on practical solutions to help our members save on food costs — including home growing, direct purchasing from farmers, and building stronger local networks. If we can organize buying groups and increase volume, savings of 30–40% are realistically achievable. Many nutrient-rich plants can even be grown in a condo or apartment.
There are already several organizations and companies actively working on solutions in this area, offering guidance and practical methods for growing food efficiently. We will be sharing this valuable information with you.

We are no longer looking at isolated problems. This is a systemic crisis affecting every link in the food supply chain — from the farm all the way to your grocery store.
American families, especially lower and middle-income households, will feel the pain through significantly higher grocery bills throughout the remainder of 2026 and into 2027.
We Are Witnessing a Multi-Front “War on Food”
This crisis is being driven by geopolitical conflicts, energy shortages, and extreme weather. Here is the current situation:
1. Energy Crisis – Diesel & Gasoline Spike Diesel prices have risen sharply in the past 4–6 weeks due to Ukrainian drone strikes that have taken out 15–20% of Russia’s refining capacity, combined with disruptions from the Iran conflict.
Farm diesel costs are now up 46–60% for many producers compared to late February/early March 2026.
Since trucks move roughly 83% of all U.S. agricultural products, this increase flows directly into higher transportation and logistics costs.
2. Electricity Prices Exploding Due to Data Centers
Electricity prices surged 6.9% in 2025, largely because of massive data center construction.
In 2026, further increases of 8–12% are expected nationally, with some regions seeing 30–50% jumps.
Many greenhouse operators in Texas, Virginia, Georgia, and the Northeast are already reporting 20–40% higher monthly electricity bills. As a result, retail prices for greenhouse-grown tomatoes, leafy greens, and herbs are expected to rise 8–18% this year, with some items potentially increasing 20%+ in the worst-hit areas.
3. Fertilizer Prices Skyrocketing Nitrogen fertilizers (Urea, Anhydrous Ammonia, UAN) — critical for corn, wheat, and most major crops — are up 30–49% compared to last year.
Ukraine has destroyed several major Russian fertilizer plants, Russia (the world’s largest fertilizer exporter) has restricted exports, and China has canceled large shipments. Several Middle East facilities have also been damaged. Analysts expect fertilizer prices to remain elevated or rise further throughout 2026.
4. Natural Gas – The Hidden Multiplier Natural gas prices rose +56% in 2025. If the Iran war continues and disrupts global LNG supply, prices could surge another 35–60% in 2026. Because natural gas is the primary feedstock for nitrogen fertilizer and powers much of the food processing industry, this would dramatically amplify costs across the entire food chain.
5. Historic Drought in the United States The U.S. is facing one of the worst spring droughts in decades. Over 52% of the Lower 48 is currently in drought.
Winter wheat: Only 30% rated good-to-excellent; analysts expect 10–20%+ production drop.
Corn & Soybeans: 27–30% of acres under drought, with expected 5–12% yield reductions.
Livestock: Pastures deteriorating rapidly → ranchers selling cattle early and abandoning herd expansion plans.
Conclusion
Remember this is a systemic crisis affecting every link in the food supply chain — from the farm to family table.

Look around you… while driving the road, in the store, in cities… in the Metropolitan Areas, especially. MANY PEOPLE. When you think about that situation being duplicated everywhere in America and the World you must come to the same conclusion. THERE ARE TOO MANY PEOPLE FOR THE RESOURCES OF EARTH TO SUPPORT WITH THE UNRELIABLE SUPPLY SYSTEM WE HAVE. Many mouths to feed. A correction will come at some point.
I do not even attempt to be “Prophetic…” I simply post INDICATORS. I’m not telling you what or when it will happen. That, you have to piece together yourself from INDICATORS. But never has America and the World faced so many issues that have put us on the edge of the cliff next to the “Gorge of Chaos.”
I don’t describe them as “Probable Indicators...” because they are not just probable… one or more of them WILL create a Catastrophic Event that will turn your world TO CHAOS… causing further Catastrophic Event to happen!
YOUR LIFE and that of your Family, Wife, Friends, Neighbors and Americans WILL ONLY CONTINUE WITH LIFE ESSENTIAL ITEMS. YOU AND THEY WILL DIE WITHOUT TWO OF THEM… WATER AND FOOD, AROUND THIS TIME PERIOD.

●Food equals three to four weeks without-then incapacitation and death
●Medicines that you depend on daily to keep you alive-that, you will have to calculate
What causes Famine?
In the past of history and certainly more so now…
War, directly and indirectly.
Purposeful manipulation of commodities markets by Communist ‘elites,’ such as in France that caused the French Revolution virtually overnight.
A “Malthusian Event” where population outgrows the ability of food production to feed that population (Look the term up).
Harsh weather conditions causing growing production to be far less than the what the population needs. See Malthusian Event above.
Producers and Processors not having enough fertilizer, fuel, seed, pesticides, chemicals and packaging material to produce necessary food and get them to market. Little or no fuel for trucks to transfer or to deliver.
Inflation causing Food prices to increase beyond the ability of people to buy.
March–In the past, one of the months that both Northern Europeans and Native Americans refer to as “The Starving Season”–when food stored for winter runs low, but before spring bounty appears.
